Marco Island

Marco Island is a barrier island off the coast of Southwest Florida in the Gulf of Mexico, connected to the mainland by bridges south of Naples. It has a network of inland waterways, resorts, hotels, beaches, marinas, and golf courses. Most of the west coast is dominated by a long, sandy beach, with resort hotels towards the south.
A tidal lagoon at Tigertail Beach Park is famous for watersports. Town of Joy points you in the right route.
